In the many years I have been supporting birth, the journey to achieving a truly undisturbed physiological birth
has changed a lot and the need for the right support now is greater than ever before.
It is wonderful that there are so many options now for birth support, but it can be quite overwhelming knowing who to choose and why. I hope that after you learn more about me through my website that it will give you an insight on how I can support you and whether we are a good fit for the home birth you envision.
I wholeheartedly believe in your ability to birth undisturbed and in complete autonomy. It is your sovereign right to bring your baby into the world in the way that is right for you and no-one but you should make that decision.

A note from Dee to you
The epitome of my why; is to be of service holding space for families on their birthing journey. As an independent birthworker I provide emotional, spiritual, practical & physical support for you and your family during your childbearing year.
With over 30 years experience in bodywork and movement therapy, I give you the best support before, during and after the birth of your precious little one.
I understand that each family is different and I can adapt to your needs. In the 100+ births I have attended, I have offered continuous emotional and physical support during long & sometimes extremely intense situations. My resolve to support and nurture families through their birth did not waver in these times, which has given me amazing insight and experience to bring to you and your birth.
I assure you that I will stay by your side for as long as you need me; holding your hand, massaging your back or just breathing with you. This includes advocating for you if you do not know what to do next. If you are looking for some extra support during this time, then this could be what you have been searching for.
